Even though its a New Year....
I would first like to thank all of the people who know who I am.....Thank you for your support, Thank you for having my back, Thank you for keeping me motivated but most importantly, thank you for believing in me. Without your support I would have made to where I am without you all.Now that we've gotten that out of the way I want to start off with our first project about to go into production which is the local release fo the Street Mechanics Apparel Promo video. This video is going introduce to you a world that most rarely get to see, into the lives of rollerbladers and their never ending struggle to be a part of mainstream action sports.
This clothing company is based and ran out of Newark, NJ, by Michael Scott-Peterson, a 29 year old rollerblader who has been skating since he was 14 years old. Though introduced to aggrssive inline skating when he turned 17, Mike kept at it and won his first King of the street Inline Skate Contest in July 2001 at the now closed down Chelsea Peirs Extreme Skatepark in New York.
Moving on to bigger things Mike organized his first Real Street Comp in Newark in 2003 Calling it the Street Mechanics Real Street Competition or SMRSC. Hosting three successful comps and a sizzlin summer session, he decided to start a company, but lack of financial support, being forced into homlessness almost ended his dream. Mike would later bounce back full throttle and work on his behind the scenes work rather than put something together when he tried to.

Now armed with confidence and ambition to give rollerbladers and the common public something they can relate to, he is poised and set to give the world something they've never seen before.
The Street Mechanics Promo is called "Roll With US" and will be released online (ONLY) Spring 2009
When we spoke to Mike he told us that "I'm very excited that I can finally go foaward with this project. I have waited five years to put his thing in motion and now that I am standing on the threshshold of making it happen, there are so many feelings and thoughts running through my head. I have been through a lot and I know its going to be hard work, but I was built for it. I will try my best to give the people quality designs on quility material at a decent price."
Street Mechanics Apparel is set to hit the streets late January, early February 2009 and will be making its rollerblading premiere at Bittercold Showdown February 27&28 in Royal Oak, Michagan. To make pre-orders, or to get press information, you can e-mail Mike at StreetMechanics@Gmail.com.....
